Playing with the big boys !

Well after many years of toying with the idea of doing a bass series its finnaly time . I will be running in the Renegade bass series. We are team 19 and I will have the luxury of competing in a awesome ranger bass boat.

My partner Fern has been doing this for many years and I look forward to everything I will learn. As far as bodies of water...I know them quite well except for the St lawrence. Its clear waters and heavy current mean I have to change my tactics if I am going to place.

I hope that I will be able to update this blog as I go so I can share my first season competing with the big boys !

A Blogger At Last

Ahh....Fishing .

This is something that has been very important to me for many many years . The day my uncle passed away a close family friend took me fishing on the Jock River . Although we caught nothing this was a day I will never forget and will accuse of causing my severe case of...."fishingitis" .

It started as a way to get my mind off things and just relax. It quickly turned to a full out assault on the fish of the Ottawa and surrounding area . I barely ever kept anything but I had a hunger to keep catching bigger and better fish . I will fish any species but Bass is where my heart lies .

Hopefully you can follow my fishing fun throughout the seasons and who know, you might even learn a thing or two .
